PRISONER SENTENCED TO 14 YEARS' IMPRISONMENT. (Per Press Association.) Sydney, October 25. ].>c mi was found guilty on the second chart i: of perjury, in swearing he never pure! ased poison. The defending council raised the plea that he had been granted a Royal pardon, which inclnded the charge. The contention was overruled. Dean made denials similar to yesterday. Prisoner was sentenced to I five years' imprisonment on the firsc and ! fourteen years on the second charge, the sentences to be concurrent. Prisoner was cool and collected and said, " Thank you. your Honor," when the Judge passed sentence. The conspiracy trials have been adiourned till Tuesday.
