Young Conqueror was bred in the Patea district, and his first seasons foals are splendid specimens of draught stock. Yotjko Conqttebob WB6 foaled in 1885, got by Old Conqueror, dam Olive ; Olive by Surprise out of Wellington mare, whose dam was imported from Tasmania. Olive has taken four first prizes at Ua« wera A. and P. Shows, and has never been beaten in the Show' ring. Young Cokquebob took .first prize as a two year-old at Hawera A. and P.
