• (Per Press Association). Napeer, This Day The steamers Flora and Wakatipn came into collision when leading "Wellington Heads yesterday afternoon. The only tfajgage was the Wakatipu's starboard lifeboat siflaslied to pififies, The boat was oast adrift a,nd the steamers went on without stopping. The passengers on both vessels were greatly alarmed for the moment, bat were quickly assured by the officers there was no danger. Mr Mills, manager of the Union Company, was on board the Wakatipu, and Mr Houghton, the Compaqy's inspector, on the Flora.
