A petition is in course of signature among the settlers in and around ftangi* wahia to have telephone communication established with Feilding, by a continuation of the line which is already extended as far as Apiti. Assuming the Postmaster General accedes to the request of the petitioners, the new offices, which would probably be at Pemberton and Ran- ' gi wahia, would soon provide more than sufficient revenue to cover the cost and , expenses. .
