Trade With Manchester.
(Per Pit Ess Association.) Melbourne, This Day. The Age states that definite arrangements have been concluded between .the representatives, of one of our steam lines and the frozen meat shippers in Melbourne and Sydney for a direct shipment to Manchester of 20,000 carcases ot mutton. The service to commence next, will be continued at intervals of 4 weeks, and is l^eing done without any Government assistance, but it is certain that the Department of Agriculture will offer every facility to shippers of perishable produce to avail themselves of the second market.
