INTENDING purchasers of farmhomestead special settlement sections are hereby cautioned, before completing any purchase or paying over any deposit on any proposed transfer, to first communicate with the Commissioner of Crown Lands, to see whether the intending seller is likely to be allowed to transfer his interest in the section, as it was on the representation of the secretaries of the associations that the members were prepared to improve and immediately reside on their land that the Minister of Lands was induced to set the land specially apart for them, enabling members to secure the same without competition for this purpose, and this is to warn purchasers that the Board is not prepared, unless exceptional and unforseen causes can be shown which prevented members from carrying out their part of the implied conditions, to grant transfers of association lands until all the conditions have been complied with.
