General Booth.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, October 10. This evening the Salvation Army held a great social meeting in the Opera House, at which the Premier presided. The building was packed to overflowing. General Booth delivered an address on " Social Miseries, and their Remedies." Prior to the meeting the Army had a torchlight procession through the main streets, and an open air meeting in Cuba street. The General leaves for Lyttelton to-ruorrow.
