The N.Z.L. and M.A. Company report — Sheepskins— Full- wool, 5d to s£d ; superior lines s£d ; fair, to 4f d ; medium, 8$ to 4d ; inferior and broken, 2d to 3£d ; green skins, 5s to 5s 3d ; superior lines, 5s 6d to 5s 8d ; medium descriptions, 4s 6d to 4s lOd. Hides— Transactions for the week have been satisfactory, and the prices obtaining for prime stout ox, 3£d ; medium, 3£d ; light, 2|d to 3d ; cow hides, 2£d to 2fd ; calf skins 3£ per lb. Tallow— Hpme cables advise a firmer tone, prime mutton being quoted at 24s per cwt. Locally we have cleared a few small parcels at prices well up to tno London equivalent. Hemp —Since our last report advices of a further improvement of £1 per ton have been received from Home. Oats —A further slight decline has taken place in the Southern markets, but not sufficient to affect local values, which rule about the level of those a week ago. ________________
