Stock Market.
Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Wanganui stock report is as follows : — The market for stock to-day was not very brisk. We had a good entry of cattle, and sold the bulk at the quotations. At Waverley prices were on a par with those of the previous sale. Cattle— At Waverley : Cows, £2 10s to £4. 3s ; heifers, £2 7s 6d to £3 ; yearlinps, ill 15s ; weaners, 34s to 35s ; separator calves, 15s to '225. At Wanganui : Bullocks, jE4 10s to £4 11s ; steers, £2 18s to £3 ; heifers, £2 10s ; cows and calves, £3 9s 6d ; weaners, 34s 6d ; yearlings £2 4s 7d. Sheep— At Waverley : Hoggets, 6s 61d to 8s 9d. At Wanganui : Fat ewes, lls lOd to 11s lid ; old ewes and lambs, Is 6d. Pigs— Porkers, 20s to 223 ; small pigs, 6s to Bs.
