Concert at Pohangina.
0 The concert in the Pohangina Hall last evening was well attended, and passed off very successfully. The programme was contributed to by the following ladies and gentlemen :— Mrs Griffin, song, 'Daddy,' (encored); Mrs Welsh, song, ' After Sundown ' ; Mrs Thornton, song, ' Moonlight Serenade ' ; Mrs Culling, song, ' Jessie's Dream ' ; Miss Ross, song, ' Rose of Lucerne ' ; Miss Mclatyre, song, ' Atter the Ball,, and • Alabama Coon ' as an encore' also 'Marguerite' in the second part; Miss Valentine, piano solo; MrClapham, song, with harp accompaniment ; Mr Bayliss, Banjo sketch (encored) : Mr C. Staffan, violin solo, ' Home sweet Home '; Mr Grieve, song ' The Garonne ' ; Mr W. Adsett, song ' I couldn't ' (encored) ; Mr Laurensen, recitations, ' Little baby boy,' and ' Poodle dog,' as an encore, also, ' Little Jacob Strauss ' in the second part, which was encored ; Mr F. W. Treseder sang seven songs. The concert was followed by a dance, which was largely attended^
