Wellington Land Board.
Amongst the successful applicants for sections in improved farm settlements were : — G. W. Rnnruel and A. Mellan, Rangiwahia ; J. Shannon, J. E, Halcrow and F. Morris, Apiti ; O. Patton* Camp, belltown ; J. Brown and J. Smallman Rangawahia ; Gh Asquith, Jtuahine. A'number of applications for extension of time in which to pay rent were granted. H. S. Cederholm was granted exemption from residence on section 13, Block V., Puketoi, as long as his family resides there. It is decided that P. G. Smith must carry out some improvements on Section 1 6, Block X, Hautapu. It was decided to inform T- Thompson that Section 5, Block VII, Umutoi, belonged to his daughter, and ask why he signed her name to communications to the Board. It wo s decided to notify selectors two years in arrear of the intention of the Board to forfeit their holdings. A number of deferred thirds were passed, and the Board adjourned. jJIL'.Ii III' I.
