English and Continental buyers are the principal operators. American buyers are purchasing scarcely anything. The total quantity of colonial wool available is 225,000 bales. We are informed, aaye a Palrnerston paper, that » settler in this district has netted £50$ over the recent 'r}se in the price of wool, his last year's shipment having been disposed of at the late sales &t a highly aaftisfactory price.
