Rough Weather in Australia.

(Per Press Association.) Sydney, Sept. 28. It is still raining here. The vessels arriving report wild weather on tbe coast and that it is apparently travelling towards New Zealand. The ship Mary Blundcll, which left Sydney a month ago for Mauritius, put back. She met with terrific weather from the Ist till 16th September. The sea smashed her boats to matchwood. The captain, chief officer, and a number of the crew narrowly escaped being washed overboard. One man was seriously injured. The water got below and as the vessel was seriously damaged she bore up for Sydney. Pkrth, Sept. 26. The steamer Gulf of Lyons experienced a terrific gale on her voyage here, and lost 36 out of 102 horses shipped in Sydney. The remainder aj.p badly knocked about.
