Wellington Land Board.
The regular meeting of the above was held yesterday. Present — The Commissioner (in the chair), and Messrs F. W. Fisher, A. W. Fitzlierbert, A. W. Hogg, M.H.R., and Fred Pirani, M.H.R. Douglas, section 6, Block 11, Wairoa ; C. M. McLaren, section 1, Block V, Mokotuku Titles to be approved if conditions complied with :— F. H. Wrigley, sections 78 and 80, Block IX, Kopuaranga ; J. S, George, section 21JJ, Block XII, Man- ' gaone ; Sixtus Bros, section 17, Block X, Apiti ; J. Dick, section 51, Block VIII, Makuri ; N. Samuel, section 08, Block XII, Makuri. Shaw waited on the Board in reference to his residence on section 2, Ngamatea Village Settlement. He explained that owing to the want of roads it was impossible to take his family there, and bis father had gone to live on it. — Under the circumstances, it was decided to grant a transfer from Mr Shaw to his father. Mr James Walker waited on the Board in reference to the improvements on section 11, Block IV., Mangaone. He disputed the Ranger's measurement of the area felled. It was decided to have the area measured and to get an explanation from the Ranger. Mr T* Munro waited on the Board in reference to tbe transfer of section 3, Block X, Hautapu, from Miss Dillon to himself. Mr Pirani explained the facts of the case, and it was decided to ask Mr Munro to get a written statement from Miss Dillon. Mr Scales waited on the Board in reference to the transfer of section 110, Block I, Mangaone, from J. Ross to J. G. Mackay, and put in a declaration from Parish Bro, in reference to the matter. It was decided to grant the transfer. Mr A. Cook waited on the Board in reference to a transfer from J. Demuth of section 16, Horowhenua Village Settlement -The Board decided they could not allow the transfer. Mr T. Wilson waited on tbe Board to ask for permission to reside on the adjoining land to his section 7, Block VII, Makuri — Agreed to.- Standard .
