Educational Building Vote.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Sept. 20. A deputation from tbe Wanginui Education Board waited on the_ Hon. Mr Reeves to ask for an increase in the vote for new buildings. They suggested that instead of distributing the money on the basis of population, aa hitherto, it should bp granted for new buildings, wherever required, s*tri»t en^fjiry bping maie as to ihe actual necessity for each building. The Minister admitted that ihe growth of population on tha coast gave it a claim to I some consideration, and ho thought ho I could promise them a larger proportion of j the vote tbis year than* last.
