T^TOTICE is hereby given that the ±S following Resolution, which was adopted at a Special Meeting of the Council held on Monday, the 16th September, will be submitted to a meeting of the Council at noon on Wednesday, the 16th of October, for confirmation, viz. : — "That a Special Rate of onetwelfth of a penny in the pound be hereby made upon .the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property within the Borough of Feilding for the purpose of paying the interest on a loan of £86, to provide one fifth the cost of the construction of a Bridge over the Mangaone Stream on the FeildingAshurst Road, to be borrowed under the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886," and under clause 113 of the " Public Works Act, 1894 "; such rate to be an annuallyrecurring rate for 26 years and payable in equal instalments on the first clays of June and December in each year."
