A Perilous Voyage.

(Per i?ress Association). Sydney, September 25. - The Union Company's steamer Oonah had a perilous voyage from Hobart. She encountered heavy gales on the Tasmanian coast, and after being four hours out from Hobart, an accident happened to the high pressure cylinder. Had the accident occurred half an hour before it did the vessel would have been on a lee shore, and owing to the frightful pitching would have been quite helpless. The engineers took nine hours to disconnect the cylindors and put the vessel under the compound engines.
