Young Conqueror was bred in the Patea district, and his first seasons foals are splendid specimens of draught stock. Young Conquebob was foaled in 1885, got by Old Conqueror, dam Olive ; Olive by Surprise out of Wellington mare, whose dam was imported from Tasmania. Olive has takeu four first prizes at Ha* wera A. and P. Shows, and has never been beaten in the Show ringYoung Conquebob took first prize as a two yoar-old at Hawera A. and P. Show, and has not been in the show ring since.
