The following are the best prices on offer on the New Zealand Cup : — 100 to 11 against Skirmisher and Mahaki ; 100 to 9 Marino ; 100 to 8 Pegasus, Impulse, Irish Twist ; 100 to 7 Sternchaser, North Atlantic, Gipsy Grand, Waiuku ; 100 to 6 Magazine, Saracen, Lady Zetland ; 100 to 5 to 1 others. The Cambridgeshire will not be decided until October 23. It is run over a very severe one mile and 240 yds, a distance which, should suit the Australian horse (Paris) thoroughly. The Cesarewitch, which is run over 2£ miles and 35yds, will be decided on October 9. The Grandmaster gelding carries Bst in the latter and 7st 101 bin the former event.
