Inspection of Catholic
IPerPressAsaociationi Dunbdb*, Sept. 19. The report of the Education Board's Inspector on the examination of Catholic Schools states that at St. Joseph's School the total presented for examination was eiehty-nine, of whom sixty-seven passed. The remarks on class subjects are:— Grammar, satisfactory; history, fair ; geography, very fair ;elementary science, good, so far as the classes had gone ; objectlessons, moderate. At St Patrick's School, South Dunedin, the total number examined was ninety-four, of whom eighty-one passed. The remarks on the dfierent subjects show : - Grammar, fair ; history, satisfactory ; g«W»P^j fair ; object lessons, moderate ; mental arif.hmptir.. very fair.
