GOOD NEWS FOR SHEEPOWNERS. PRICES FROM 2d TO 8d PER POUND HIGHER. [Per Press Association.] Sydney, This Day. The local wool sales opened strongly with an advance of 15 per cent above tbe opening rates last year, and for some classes of wool the rise is as much as from 2d to 8d per lb since the beginning of the year.
