Great Britain Quells an Arab Insurrection.

(Pee Press Association.) London, September 16. The Arabs on the mainland resent Great Britain proclaiming a protectorate of Bahrein Island, in the Persian Gull. Many armed dhows assembled in the vicinity and threatened an attack on the Britishers. It is behaved the Arabs are in collision with a faction of the Islandsrs. The British warships gave the Arabs an hour to disembark, and then destroyed 40 dhows and quelled all opposition.
