A Case of Infanticide.

(Per i'ress Association). Wellington, Sept. 16. While two boys named Fred. Onyon and D. Bonnor were walking by the side of the Wellington Harbour at the foot oi Davis street on . Sunday morning, then attention was attracted by a small bag, which they succeeded in drawing on to the beach. On opening it they found inside the dead body of an infant, which was subsequently examined by Dr Cahill who stated to be that of a fully developed male child, not more than 48 hours old. It bore no external marks of violfiDC6 At "the inquest on the child found in the harbor the medical evidence was to the effect that the child had breathed and had been killed either by suffocation or by a blow. The inquest was adjourned.
