Attempt at Fire-Raising.
(Per Press Association.) Haweka, This Day. A second attempt to fire the house occupied by Simons occurred on Saturday evening at the same hour as Friday's attempt. It was discovered soon, and extinguished. A kerosene case saturated with oil in which were chips and straw, was placed against the wall of the house. No damage was done.
