Yesterday the Rev J. Cocker returned from the South where he had been on a visit to his old pastorage at Ashburton. The advertisement of the entire horses Laird of Kilbrideand Mazeppa appear ia our present issue. We will make further reference to these horses to-morrow. Mr C. Carr held his monthly stock sale in his Feilding yards this afternoon. There was a marked improvement in the demand for young stock. Thplfew Zealand Clothing Factory have just openfeS a 'special lot of pine wool underclotlnug •' Dr Larilt's medicated," which is invaluable during wiater weather for the care of Rheumatics, Gout, Lumbago, etc. These goods are sold largely in the south for the prevention of cold.
