Pohangina Rotes.

— o A meeting of the committee of the Pohangina Small Farm Association No. 2 was held at Pohangina on Saturday last. Present— Messrs C. Selby (in the chair), A. Wagstaff, C. P. Mai, W. Stanton and W. Alexander. The chairman read correspondence from the secretary Wanganui Harbor Board and other parties. He also laid the balance sheet of the Association up to 31st August, 1895, on the table, which was adopted. The following resolution was carried unanimously : — That in the event of the chairman not receiving a satisfactory reply to his last letter to the secretary of the Wanganui Harbor Board, he is authorised to consult a solicitor on behalf of the Association, and obtain his opinion as to the advisability of testing the matter in dispute in a court of law, and report the result at next meeting.—Standard. ___________ __
