Entries for Messrs Abraham and Williams Pohangina sale on the 18th inst., are advertised to-day. A severe rheumatic pain in the left shoulder had troubled Mr J. H. Loper, a well known druggist of Des Moines, lowa, for over six monrhs. At times the pain was so severe that ( he could not lift anything. With all he could do he could not get rid of it until he applied Chamberlain's lain Balm. " I only made three applications of it," he says, •' And have since been free from all pain." He now recommends it to persons similarly afflicted. It is sold by Davy and Mills. The first shipment of new spring goods by the s.s. Gothic is now opened up and on view at the Bon Marche. Messrs Spence and Spence have further shipments to arrive per s.s. Aorangi. — Advt. John Cobbe has imported per s.g. Crothic, a case of sewing machines, at prices ranging from 00s to five guineas. Intending buyers will find these machines very much under ordinary prices. Before the summer comes in everybody should call on Mr T. Rooers, Plumber and Tinsmith, to have their spouting seen to and put in perfect order sq that th.eir tanks may be full when the dry weather sets in, Mr Rogers ' guarantees that not only will his work be well done, but it will be cheaply clone at the same time. Advt. For seven years or more Mrs W. D. Louder, ofQuincy, Ky., was subject to severe attacks of crarr.p colic. Mr S. R. Morse, a druggist of that place, recommended Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy, which has effected a permanent cure, saving her much suffering besides the trouble and expense of sending for a doctor, which was often necessary.
