Frozen Meat Conference.
(Per Press Association). Wellington, Sept. 7. The standing committee appointed by the frozen meat conference has appointed Messrs W. C. Buchanan, C. Pharazyn, and W. H. Millward an executive committee to watch over the interests of the, frozen tqeat industry and to communicate from time to titge with the standing com. mjttee for both islands. It was resolved " That the freezing companies be communicated with on the subject of grading of meat aad cool storage in terms of Mr Pegs's motions," and " that copies of Mr Rowe's report on the possibilities of open, ing up the trade between Australia and Japun be procured."
