Roy Ray covered the course proper in 2min 89& ec, while Maunlicher did what he liked "with Mauser over a mile and a St. Hippo went once round the tan, covering the mile and a quarter in 2uiin 24sec. Georgie is a firm favorite at 10 to 1, for the Epsom Handicap. For the Metropolitan Stakes 5 to 1 is laid on the field, with The Trier favorite Melbourne, This Day. Daimio, winner of the Grand National Steeplechase at Fleinington and Caulfield, will be shipped for England in February to compete for the Liverpool Grand National Steeplechase.
