(Per Press Association). WnLMKaTON, Sept. 8. Captain Edwin reports there are now strong evidences that the barometer will be very low on tho west coast between New Ply noulh and Westport on the 7th inst., and that northerly gales with heavy rain may be expected in most parts of the North Islnnd, and southerly and easterly gales with rain in most parts of "the j South Island, between noon on Friday and midnight on Saturday next. The weather at sea, between New Zealand/ and Sydney will be very bad between the 3rd and 7th insts.
