Fodder Plant.
♦ A new fodder plant is being introduced into this district which, judging from its record in other countries where it has been cultivated for some time, should prove most invalnable. We previously announced a successful trial growth in this district, and so satisfied were quite a number of farmers who saw it, that Mr T. Watson* of Feilding, received a large number of orders for the seed throughout the Manawatn and Rangitikei districts. As previously stated, the plant produces an enormous quantity of the most nutritious feed per acre. Mr Watson announces in another column that he has a supply of the seed.
