• PEOPLE DROPPING DEAD IN THE i STREET. 1 (Per Press Association.) Newcastle, August 30. 1 The Captain of the Crummock Water, which has arrived from Santos, reports r that when he left yellow fever was [ raging and the death rate was enormous. [ People were dropping dead in the streets. Numbers of ships were laid up in conr sequence of the crews being down with ! fever. Three captains of ships died in ; one week.
