THE PRICE OF BREAD.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir, — Your correspondent Mr Flavall, in last night's Star, wishes to know why Feilding bakers are selling tbeir bread 35 per cent above the Paimerston North bakers. Now, sir, Mr Flavall is tbe last gentleman I should have expected to find trying to deceive the public, or making an attempt to throw dust in their eyes by giving one side of the truth only and * withholding the other, as it is well known the Paimerston North bakers are selling their bread at three and some of them four different pricea. I am, etc., J. Gotjld.
