The Channel Collision.
[f er irress Association | I London, August 2.1In the collision between the steamers Seaford and Lyon in the English Channel, the bow of the Lyon made a huge rent in the other vessel's side, and tore its way into the saloon. The Seaford's passengers were at first panic-stricken. The captain's coolness allayed a panic.
