THIS CAY. [Before Mr R. L. Stanford, S.M.] A. R. Allan v. Mrs Robertson ; claim, £3 12s 3d. Mr Rcade for plaintiff. Judgment was given for plaintiff for amount claimed, less £1 paid since the summons was issued; costs of court, lls ; solicitor's fee, os. Manawatu Timber Company v. Jas. Bull ; claim, £5 6s lid. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff company. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs l'6s and solicitor's fee 15s Gd. J. C. Fiuley v. G. Robinson ; claim, £1 10s. Mr Rcade for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs ss. A. R. Allan v. A. J. Hawke— a judgment summons ; claim, £5 ss. Mr Reado for plaintiff. Defendant was sworn and examined as to his ability to pay. His Worship Sciid tho judgment summons was taken out too soon, it having been taken out on the day the original summons was issued.— Order refused. A. K. Bluudell, sheep inspector, charged Arthur Goldfinch with exposing sheep affected with lice for sale. This being a second offence, accused was fined £2 aud costs, 7s. Same v. Wm. Baker ; a similar charge. Convicted aud fined 20s, with costs 7s, this being a lirst offence. Same v. H. J. Booth ; a similar charge to previous one. Convicted aud lined 20s "and costs, 7s. This was also a first offcucc. L. 11. Goldfinch v. C. Atkins ; claim, £3 Is Gd. Mr Reade for plaintiff. Defendant disputed the whole of the claim. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, with costs Gs ; solicitor's fee, 2<3s. F. Kite v. T. Wood : claim, £$ Is (VI. Mr Readc for defendant, the plaintiff appearing for himself. This was a claim for wages, and defendant disputed the time claimed for, but admitted a j portion of tho claim— namely, £1 ;">s — I which he alleged plaintiff refused to take in settlement. - Plaintiff having stated his case, Mr Reade called T. Wood aud 15. Douglas for the defenceJudgment for plaintiff for £1 ss, the amount admitted, with costs 10s. A. K. Bluudell charged W. F. Elkiugton with having exposed sheep affected with lice for sale in a public yard. Mr Elkiuyton, in pleadiug guilty, said lie had purchased the sheep from sale yards, ami they were evidently affected before he bought them. — Convicted and lined 20s, with costs 7s. Dr Harris v. Young Kum ; claim, X'b Ss. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs Ss. The Court then adjourned.
