At the annual meeting of the Palmerston North Trotting Club it was decided to insist ou all nomination fees being paid before the handicaps were declared aud all ices to be paid before the horses were allowed to start in a race. There arc JCod outstanding nomination fees. Auckland, This Day. The report showed a slight loss. The total amount of stakes for the past seasou were LITIO as agaiust L2o_o for the previous.
