A Terrible Disaster.

AN HOTEL DESTROYED BY FIRE. OVER FORTY PEOPLE BURNT TO DEATH. (Per Press Association.) New York, August 19. Owing to the explosion of a boiler, the Gumry Hotel, in Denver, was destroyed. The debris caught lire, and, the flames spreading rapidly, rendered rescue impossible, and forty people lost their lives. The origin was a defect in the boiler.
