THE ACCUSED DISCHARGED. [Per Press Association? ! Melbourne, August 15. The Ballarat sensation was before the Court to-day. The case against the girl Bones, charged with forging her father's name to a cheque, and Warner, the clerk, alleged to be anlaccomplice, was discharged, the Bench holding that there was no case. The girl gave evidence to the offset that she had known ' Warner for about four weeks, when he asked her to marry him, and stipulated that she should steal and forge a cheque, aud promised to return the money if her father consented to the marriage. Sho gave bim lire blank cheques and showed { him her father's signature ; subsequently she cashed a cheque which Warner hadsigjied^^^^
