"WHY DON'T THE MEN PROPOSE." (Per Press Association.) Adelaide, This Day. The report of the I^egistrar-General shows the marriage rate for the colony last year was the lowest for twenty years, being a very little over six per 1000 of the inhabitants as compared with nine in 1882. Statistics prove there is a growing disinclination ol colonists to enter into the married state. i
