The match between North and South, played at Palmerston on Saturday, resulted in a victory for tho latter. It has been decided to abandon the Junior Representative match with Wellington. The selection committee, Messrs Matheson, Nash, and Fake, have selected the following team to play against the Wellington representative team, at Wellington, ou Saturday next : Full-back, A. McMinn (Pirate); threequarters, C. Rockley (Pirate), Hewitt (Palmerston), Richards (Feilding); five-ei£h hs, ty. Shannon (Feilding.; half, Podevin (Palmerston); forwards, Pernn (Pirate), W. Smith (Feilding), N. Rush (Pirate), Eliott (Palmerston), Le Cren (Feilding), Sanson (Feilding), A. Johnston (Palmerston), E Nash (Pirate), W. Smith (Pirate).
