The Egmont Farmers Union report— We held a clearing sale on behalf of Mr James Boddie at his farm, Normanby, on Friday, 26th ult. Cows and heifers, L 2 10s to L 6 ss ; pigs, 3s to L 2; hacks, and ponies, L 2 15s to L 4 10s. Our monthly horse fair was held on Saturday, the 27th ulfc. Draughts, Ll6 to Ll9 ; harness horses, L 8 10s to Ll2 ; hacks, L 2 lls to Lll 10s. There was a small muster of cattle at Manaia on Wednesday the 31st ult., 18-months steers, L 2 4s to L 2 10s ; weaners, mixed, 19s 6d to LI 2s 6d; dairy cows, L32sto L 4 7s 6d. During the past few days we have placed some large lines of fat cattle privately.
