IVJOTICE is hereby given that the J3j following Special Order wns adopted at a Special Meeting of this Council on Saturday, 20th July, 1895, and it is proposed to confirm the same at a Special Meeting of (he said Kiwitea County Counx'H, to be held on SATURDAY, 21th August, 1895 :— Proposed Special Order. That this Council, under the provisions of " The Loans to Local JBodie's Act, ISSG," and under, and by virtue of a warrant issued under the hands of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand dated the 21st day of June, 1894, authorising the Kiwitea County Council to construct a bridge over the Kiwitea Stream on Cheltenham Cross Road, and apportioning the cost of the said bridge : borrow the sum of £481 9s lid for the purpose of providing two-thirds of the cost of erecting a Traflic Bridge over the Kiwitea Stream on Cheltenham Cross Road and making approaches thereto, and all other work necessary for completion of said bridge in accordance with above mentioned warrant, and that a Special Rate of one-hundredth of a penny in the £, be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native Lands excepted) within the Kiwitea County, for the purpose of providing interest on above Loan of £481 9s lid to be borrowed under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 188G," such rate to be annually recurring for 26 years and payable in equal half-yearly instalments on the first days o£ April and October in each year.
