Sydney Stock Market.
(Per Press Association.) Sydney. July 31. \ The meat market shows a distinctly hardening tendency, and prices arc advancing. Best mutton shows a rise of from 2s to 3s on last month's quotations. In the course of interviews tho carcase butchers state that really good sheep and cattle are hard to procure. There is, too, the liklihood of greater .scarcity if the drought, which is becoming very severe in grazing districts continues. Graziers rushed surplus stock into the market in fear of drought, and there is now a shortage. The large growing export of live and frozen meat combined must, it is considered, lead to a considerable rise before long* Graziers are beginning to look for improved prices. * mi^Bßsmfammmmssemßasa
