At a meeting of the Winter Work Fund Committee it was resolved to send a telegram to the Premier calling attention to the state of the labor market here. It was stated the funds in hand would not hold out beyond three weeks. Auckland, July 30. Proceedings have been instituted in a case of alleged impersonation at the Auckland election. To-day's quotations are : — Buyers — Moanatairi, 7s ; Hazelbank, 4s 4d ; May Queens, 8s 9d ; Monowais, 2s lOd ; Woodstock, 29s 6d ; Waitekauri, 55s ; Grace Darling, 2a 7d ; Talisman, 12s ; Owaharoa 3s 8d ; Tictor, 3s ; Ivapai Vermont 5s 2d ,• Try Fluke, 8s 6d ; Welcome Find, 2s lid ; Bunker's Hill, 4s 6d. Waimate, July 30. The executive of the New Zealand Workers' Union congratulate the Government on the success of the Liberal Party as shown at the Auckland election.
