An Indian Rising.
(Per Press Association.) New Yohk, July 27. An official denial is given of a report published by the New York papers that Indians in Idaho besieged and massacred 75 white families at Jackson's Hole. The report stated that Federal cavalry started to the rescue too late, and were still 100 miles distant when the massacre began. It also added that the Indian rising in Idaho and Wyoming was general. _____^______
