Christchurch Industrial Exhibition.
(Per Press Association). Christchurch, July 26. The Industrial Exhibition is to be opened on August 29th by the Governor. It promises to be a great success. The time for receiving entries for exhibition does not close till August 7th, but already applications for 8,772 square feet space have been received. The committee today decided to increase the size of the buildings now being erected on the drill shed ground by adding an annex of 84 feet long and 50 feet wide. Nearly the whole of the ground is covered by build ing, which ■will bo 282 feet long by 84. feefe wide. Besides this structure the drill shed itself aud adjoining gun shed will be filled with exhibits.
