English Elections.

(Per Pre3s Association.) London, July 25. The sitting member has been reelected for Harborough. The Tories gain Otley, where Mr Wyvill has been elected. The latest returns to date are : Tories and Unionists ... 385 Liberals ... ... 148 Parnellites ... ... 10 Anti-Parnellites ... ... 59 Later. Scott, Liberal, was elected for Leigh. The sitting members were returned for Norwich, Chesterfield, Tottness, and South Tyrone. The Tory party gain Dumbarton (Wylie) and Radnorshire (Milbank). The Liberals gain Mid Norfolk (Wilsou). The Times regrets that the Reid mayority in New South Wales is not sufficient to dispense with the Labour Party. It says the attack on the propertied classes and tbe Legislative Council will raise a grave constitutional question, therefore it is fortunate that Lord Hampden is an able man and also practically acquainted with the working of Parliamentary institutions. Mereover, Mr Chamberlain, Secretary of State for the Colonies, is not likely to be driven on a wrong course by popular clamour.
