Auckland City Election.

(JBB PfiESS ASSOCIATION"!. Avcnt,AHJ>, July 25. The Premier telegraphed the following message of congratulation from himself and colleagues upon the result of the election : — " I heartily and sincerely congratulate the Liberals of Auck land on their splendid victory. The result of the election should prove to the Labour and Liberal party that in unity there is strength, and that as long as this continued the rights of the people are safely guarded. Self and colleagues tender to all friends oar sincere thanks for great services rendered." Mr Thompson leaves for Wellington on Monday to undertake his parliamentary duties.
