(Per Pkess Association). Wellington, July 25. A deputation consisting of the Hon. McLean, Messrs Wilson, O'Regan, G. \V. Russell, Stevens, Lawry, M.sH.R., and a number of gentlemen interested in racing, waited on the Minister of Railways for the purpose of requesting him to convey racehorses to and from race meetings at single rates. Mr Stevens pointed out that Australia and India gave the concession asked for. The Hon.
