The Stock Market.
F. R. Jacksan and Co's Wanganui stock report : — At the sale to-day sheep were at improved values, all selling readily at the quotations. We had no cattle worth speaking obout - a few cows only. At Waverley the sheep were well competed for, but cattle were neglected. Pigs sold fairly well at Wanganui. At Waverley— Cattle : Steers, £2 16s: weaners. 25s to 28s. At Wanganui : Fat cows, £4 los ; old cows, £2 to £3 ; milch cows, £6 2s 6d. Sheep -At Waverley ; Store wethers, 9s 10c! ; lambs, 5s lOd : old culls, ewes, Is lOd. At Wanganui : Wethers, 9s ty 10s ; fat ewes, 6s 3d to 6s lid ; ewes, 5s to 5s 7d. Pigs— Baconers 30s ; large pork, 20s to 25s ; porkers, 12s to 16s.
